Description Let’sPlaySF! Is a partnership between the SF Rec and Park Department and SF Parks Alliance set out to restore existing playgrounds around San Francisco. The project budget was $3.2M, with the design informed by the natural environment of San Francisco. The design team collected community feedback to revitalize the existing park. The playground is fully accessible and designed for all types of play and interaction. Ms. Tang’s role in this project was to manage the site grading and drainage of all the play structures and components of the park and conform its edges into the larger park space to fit within the existing project budget.

Description India Basin and Waterfront Park is approximately a 15+ acre site privately owned and developed with up to 1,575 homes, 209,000 sf of commercial space, 1,575 bike parking spaces and 1,800 parking spaces. The Waterfront Park interconnected a series of connected trails along the San Francisco Bay Trail. The park includes scenic views, waterfront access and enhancing existing natural resources in the San Francisco Bay. The project was in partnership with the Trust for Public Land, San Francisco Parks Alliance, Philip Randolph Institute and the BVHP community to bring forth a park to a historically underserved neighborhood. The park project design included over 30-ft in elevation changes as well as intricate stormwater management and drainage to produce a landscape gradient that mimics the historic ecological conditions.
Project Port San Luis Harbor Terrace Campground

Description For the Port San Luis Harbor Terrace Campground, the design team worked with the Harbor District and the State Coastal Conservancy for project initiation and developed concept designs for planning and entitlements of the 32 acre site. The project initiation included data collection and review of existing conditions, and technical investigations including hydrologic analysis, prelim drainage report, grading and utility plans. The project included a new harbor building, a new visitor’s center and regrading of the site to maximize its RV parking in order to accommodate the growing demand of RV camping in the region.
